CM Punk talks if he wants Brock Lesnar to return to UFC, UFC champion on Punk's attitude
As seen last night on UFC 185, CM Punk accompanied teammate and former UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis to the cage who lost his title in a one-sided affair against his opponent Rafael dos Anjos. Pettis spoke with The Sporting News to promote the fight and commented on CM Punk’s attitude surprising him:
“Yes for sure. I just didn’t know what to expect. You see him on TV. I met him a couple times. You really don’t know what to expect from anybody. He came into the gym, you come into the practice room and you have two world champions on the floor, you have CM Punk, you have one of the most Olympic-level wrestlers and everybody is just training together. Everybody blends in and there’s no superstar. There’s no one person who gets more attention. It's just a team full of guys that all want to get better.”
MMA journalist Ariel Helwani was at a media gathering with CM Punk on Friday night and tweeted Punk’s thoughts on Brock Lesnar returning to UFC. Helwani wrote:
