CM Punk talks The Young Bucks & Batista, WWE star teasing major announcement
- CM Punk may not be a part of the WWE anymore, hasn’t been in a year and half, but does keep an eye on the happenings in the world of pro-wrestling for sure. Punk, who did his time in the indies before making it big in the WWE, has always been a vocal supporter of the talents that work in the smaller shows.
He seems to be a big fan of the tag team The Young Bucks, who recently announced signing with the Ring Of Honor promotion. Punk, who pioneered the ROH promotion’s rise in the early 2000s’, took to Twitter to congratulate the team.
Punk has also been busy, when not training, with his gig of designing comic books and more importantly being a fan. A known aficionado of comics, Punk tweeted out his excitement over the release of the new Marvel Drax comic and tagged in his friend Batista.
Coincidentally, Batista played the character Drax in last year’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Below are Punk’s tweets:
- Titus O’ Neil has been around the WWE landscape a few years now, and while he has experienced some notable level of success, his full potential is yet to be utilised. Prior to his career in the WWE, he was a pro football player and that athleticism is on full display as Titus employs a bruising style in the ring.
However, even though his days of being a part of the gridiron is over, Titus is still a passionate follower of football and has expressed his desire to coach someday. Going by his recent post on Instagram, there may be some major news coming from that front.
God continues to Bless me an imperfect man with Unlimited and in some cases unwarranted Blessings!! Why? Because my heart is right and my Calling is Tremendous so with this I say Lord I thank you for the GREAT news today and look forward to sharing with the WORLD this most recent Blessing when it comes into fruition!! Thank you in advance!! Your Humble and Grateful servant..ME!! #ContentOfCharacter #Blessed
