CM Punk's Monday Night RAW return & WrestleMania XXX plans
- CM Punk: Dave MEltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio has said that CM Punk is expected to return tonight at RAW from Chicago. Although Meltzer didn’t say that 100% Punk will be there, and he didn’t sound that sure also.
But, his source, believed to be a top WWE Star has claimed that 100% Punk returns tonight.
Punk who was present at last weekend’s UFC pay-per-view in Las Vegas has made the impression that he’s non-committal about his status with the WWE, and was seen talking as if it was something from the past.
Last Monday, back-stage there was no talk about Punk’s return in Chicago. Within the WWE, the feeling is that Punk will not return for tonight’s RAW which takes place in Punk’s home-town, and this has led to concerns within the WWE about what the crowd would do, without Punk actually being there.
- WrestleMania: If Punk does return to RAW tonight, he will either replace Daniel Bryan for the match against Triple H, or he will be the third contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Title match with Batista and Randy Orton. Although, it is not believed that Punk will win the title, unless off-course he plans to sign a new deal with WWE, which at the moment looks unlikely.
