Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair to end 2024 at the top of one major category? Exploring the possibility

The year 2025 is on the horizon. Looking across WWE, several superstars stand out, including Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair. The American Nightmare and The EST stand out as two of the best competitors on the roster. In fact, they could be poised to end the year at the very top of one major category.

The major category here has to do with their performances in the ring. To be specific, it is the number of performances they've put up in the calendar year. Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair have been present night in and night out in 2024. So much so that they lead in the category for the most matches this year for the men's and women's divisions, respectively.

Even though there are still two months left in 2024, the statistics speak for themselves. As per Wrestle Features, Cody Rhodes has thus far wrestled 88 matches this year, with his intense bout against Gunther at WWE Crown Jewel being his latest outing. Meanwhile, Bianca Belair, who had an equally thrilling time defending her Women's Tag Team Championship alongside Jade Cargill in a Fatal Four-Way Match in Riyadh, has had 65 matches this year.

It will be interesting to see what their stats look like come the New Year. One thing is for sure, though: both of them put their heart and soul into their craft once they step into the ring. Truly, two of the best in the pro wrestling business, period.

Both Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair may need to watch their backs

One other thing Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair have in common outside of their reputation as workaholics is their current situation. Both superstars have been thrust into tense situations, which have to do with some of their closest friends on the roster. The potential for things to get really bad is so high that both stars would do well to watch their backs.

On one hand, you have The American Nightmare, who is now sure to butt heads with his former friend Kevin Owens. Considering The Prizefighter decimated Randy Orton at Crown Jewel, there is no one left to stop him from getting to Rhodes.

Meanwhile, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill's friendship may have been tested last night on RAW. Liv Morgan has sown the seeds of doubt between them, and it feels almost inevitable that one of them will backstab the other.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for both superstars. They will need to be alert. After all, this is pro wrestling we are talking about, and anything can happen, at any time and anywhere.
