Cody Rhodes to face legendary ex-WWE Champion at WrestleMania 41 if The Rock can't do it? Possible backup plan explored
WrestleMania 41 will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Las Vegas Nevada. With every passing year, WWE has been raising the bar in crafting a grander and more monumental Mania show. WrestleMania XL will be recalled as one of the best shows of the franchise to date.
There are rumors that WrestleMania 41 will feature multiple major superstars such as Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, John Cena, The Rock, and many more. For the main event, one of the major pitches is The American Nightmare vs. The Final Boss.
The Rock is a major name who has multiple commitments, projects, and business ventures to handle. Therefore, it is possible that The People’s Champion could somehow be unavailable for the Show of Shows. If this were to be the case, there is only one name that could lock horns with The American Nightmare at the Grandest Stage of Them All, Roman Reigns.
The Stamford-based promotion has already started building the heat and tension between Rhodes and Reigns. The Original Tribal Chief has already planted seeds for the trilogy bout against his arch-rival and warned him after handling business with The Bloodline, he wants his championship back.
Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 can be a historic bout as both these megastars currently have one win against the other, the third match could be an ultimate score-settling contest and can be booked as the final battle between the two. The winner could then build a feud against The Rock for the first two-night SummerSlam next year.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to team-up at Bad Blood 2024
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes agreed to join forces to take on their common enemy in the form of the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline in a tag team match at Bad Blood 2024. They will lock horns with Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Last week on the blue brand, WWE showcased a cinematic segment between The OTC and The American Nightmare from the stadium, where they agreed to have each other’s back.
It will be interesting to see arch-foes Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes working as a team at Bad Blood 2024 on October 5. Will the unexpected team finally hunt down their common rivals or will The Bloodline score a monumental victory? Only time will tell.
