Cody Rhodes' help against The Bloodline, Ladder Match backup - 5 WWE NXT stars who should be involved in 2024 Money in the Bank
WWE has three main shows. Monday Night RAW is the company's longest-running show that currently airs on the USA Network. SmackDown is the most popular program that airs on FOX. NXT is the developmental brand that is also shown on the USA Network.
Typically, RAW and SmackDown co-host massive premium live events. Money in the Bank is the next big PLE and several major matches have been announced, including two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches and a bout featuring The Bloodline.
Despite not technically being an NXT-produced event, there is a chance that some NXT stars could end up being part of Money in the Bank. This article will take a look at five such NXT performers who should get involved with the upcoming premium live event in Canada. In each instance, they can assist main roster stars who are in major matches at the show.
Below is the list of five WWE NXT stars who should be involved in the 2024 Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
#5. Joe Coffey & #4. Mark Coffey & #3. Wolfgang, Gallus could be part of Drew McIntyre's master plan in the WWE
Gallus is a stable that was first formed on the NXT UK brand. Joe Coffey leads the group and his real-life brother Mark Coffey is also a member of the stable. Lastly, the unpredictable Wolfgang is the third and final member of the faction.
There is a chance that the Scottish trio could soon be called up to the main roster, but not by one of WWE's General Managers. Instead, Joe, Wolfgang, and Mark Coffey could get a call from former World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre.
The Scottish Psychopath is set to take part in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match alongside Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, Jey Uso, Andrade, and Chad Gable. While Drew already has his hands full with the talent involved, he also has the looming threat of a CM Punk interference.
McIntyre may recruit his fellow Scottish stars to form a new stable on the main roster. Their first assignment could be to prevent CM Punk from interfering at WWE Money in the Bank while also aiding Drew in taking down the other five men in the ladder match.
#2. Trick Williams could be the fourth man to fight The Bloodline
Trick Williams is a special athlete down on NXT. Despite starting his WWE career in the shadow of Carmelo Hayes, he has quickly become one of the most popular wrestlers on the brand and in all of pro wrestling.
The talented performer is the current NXT Champion and recently had a segment with Cody Rhodes during a recent episode of WWE NXT. The two quickly bonded, with Trick even inviting Cody to the cookout.
Given that the pair bonded and have a friendly relationship, Rhodes could cash in, so to speak, and call upon Williams for help. He, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens are battling The Bloodline, but there are four members of the stable. If Trick has their back, the odds could finally be even.
#1. Meiko Satomura could change Damage CTRL forever
Meiko Satomura has been one of the best wrestlers in the industry for a long time, but many fans aren't aware of it. She started her career in the 1990s but joined WWE through the Mae Young Classic and NXT UK. Meiko later wrestled for NXT on an infrequent basis.
Unfortunately, the star hasn't been seen on WWE television in quite some time. Her last match with the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut took place on the March 7th edition of NXT last year where she lost to Roxanne Perez.
In the time since then, Meiko seemingly hasn't wrestled much, but she has made a few appearances in Japan as of late. Notably, she is still being promoted as a WWE star for her appearances, which indicates she still works with the promotion.
IYO SKY is in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match and has spoken about changes needed for the group. Meiko making her main roster debut by helping The Genius of the SKY win the briefcase and joining the stable could be the change that she has been promising.
