Cody Rhodes' next title defense, Solo Sikoa's worst nightmare? 4 matches WWE can announce for Bash in Berlin on SmackDown

Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown is set to be a thrilling affair. The upcoming episode of the Friday Night Show will feature the fallout from an epic SummerSlam 2024, which took place in Cleveland last weekend.

The show will also likely start the build-up for the upcoming Bash in Berlin Premium Live Event, which will take place in Berlin, Germany, later in the month. As of now, only one match has been announced for the show.

However, that might change after tonight's SmackDown. This article will take a look at a handful of matches that could be made official for the Bash in Berlin PLE. This includes Solo Sikoa's worst nightmare, a world title match, and beyond.

Below are four matches WWE can announce for Bash in Berlin on tonight's SmackDown:

#4. Andrade could challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title

Andrade can go in the ring better than 99% of the other wrestlers, both in and outside of WWE. When it comes to in-ring work, few can hang with the former NXT Champion. His talent has also led him to the WWE United States Title and success in various other promotions.

The talented Mexican performer has recently been involved in a feud with Carmelo Hayes. Despite Hayes disrespecting the former United States Champion, Andrade has managed to defeat The A-Champion twice in two epic bouts.

Given that Andrade just won two matches in a row and has been undefeated in televised singles and multi-man tag matches this year, a title shot is warranted. Rhodes and Andrade could put on a classic at Bash in Berlin if the match is made official on SmackDown.

#3. A Women's Tag Team Title match should be included

Reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn defended their prized gold against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair on the go-home edition of SmackDown ahead of SummerSlam 2024. The Unholy Union retained their title thanks to interference from Blair Davenport.

Since the title match ended in a disqualification, The EST and The Storm could demand a rematch at the upcoming Bash in Berlin PLE. General Manager Nick Aldis could make the match official during tonight's SmackDown. Alternatively, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler could also be included in the bout.

#2. Bayley could challenge for the WWE Women's Championship

Nia Jax has truly changed the perception about her since returning to WWE under the Triple H regime. The Irresistible Force's in-ring skills have improved beyond recognition, and her character work as a dominant heel has been top-notch. Jax was crowned the Queen of the Ring earlier this year, and she claimed the WWE Women's Championship from Bayley with another dominant display at The Biggest Party of The Summer.

Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton played a crucial role in Jax winning the title, as The Buff Barbie teased a cash-in, which distracted The Role Model. The Australian seized the opportunity, as she annihilated Bayley and claimed the prized gold.

Disgruntled by Tiffany's interference, the former Damage CTRL could demand a rematch against Nia Jax for the upcoming PLE. Bash in Berlin would be the perfect time for the pair to have a rematch.

#1. Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa could be the main match added to the show

Roman Reigns made his return to WWE at SummerSlam. The Original Tribal Chief returned during the Bloodline Rules Match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. He delivered a Superman Punch and a Spear to his former Enforcer, which enabled The American Nightmare to retain the championship.

Solo Sikoa took over The Bloodline following Roman's absence after WrestleMania 40. In the time since then, The Street Champ has booted out Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso, besides adding Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to the heel faction. Solo has regularly called out Roman in recent weeks, and with the Original Tribal Chief responding to his challenge in stunning style at SummerSlam, an in-ring showdown between them seems inevitable.

Of course, if this match happens, it could be Solo Sikoa's worst nightmare. Solo is not at the level of his former Tribal Chief and may find that out soon. Tonight's SmackDown could see the two agree to a match at Bash in Berlin.
