Cody Rhodes to recruit two of his former employees to help him and Roman Reigns at WWE Bad Blood? Exploring the possibility

Cody Rhodes is faced with an insurmountable task at WWE Bad Blood. Not only does he have to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, but he will have to do so while teaming up with his greatest rival, Roman Reigns. The potential for things to go wrong is out of this world, especially considering the rest of The Bloodline will also be looming. But, to avoid all that, The American Nightmare could recruit two of his former employees.

For those who don't remember, before returning to WWE, Cody Rhodes helped found and served as the Executive Vice President of AEW. There he not only recruited several superstars but also worked closely with them. Two of these stars just so happen to be on the verge of signing with WWE, and they are Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr., better known as the Lucha Brothers. And they could prove to be invaluable at Bad Blood.

Looking around the roster, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns have little to no allies. Any remnants of the old Bloodline have been snuffed by Solo Sikoa, and both Kevin Owens and Randy Orton might not be too eager to help Rhodes now that he would be teaming up with the Original Tribal Chief. So, to deal with this, the Undisputed WWE Champion could enlist the support of the Lucha Brothers in the fight against The Street Champion and the new Bloodline.

It will be interesting to see if this goes down, especially considering there are rumors that the tag team may debut tonight on SmackDown. But this is nothing more than conjecture, and we will just have to wait and see how things unfold.

Cody Rhodes recently reminded Roman Reigns that WWE is his company

Roman Reigns' return was met with a lot of applause, but to be honest, it doesn't seem like much has changed. Despite losing the Undisputed WWE Championship and control of The Bloodline, the Original Tribal Chief took time last week on SmackDown to send a message to the WWE Universe. He reminded them that this was still his ring, his arena, and his WWE, and unsurprisingly, that didn't sit well with Cody Rhodes.

Responding almost immediately, The American Nightmare walked out to the center of the ring to address this statement. While he did acknowledge all of Reigns' great accomplishments, he reminded him that that was in the past, and now he stands at the very precipice. It created a lot of tension, which was fortunately broken by the interruption of Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline.

That little interaction has already got the fans wondering if the two would be able to coexist. After all, they will need to be on the same page once Bad Blood rolls around.
