Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns to lose at WWE Bad Blood thanks to 8-time champion? It's not The Rock!
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes could lose at WWE Bad Blood thanks to a 2-time Champion and it's not The Rock. The 'OTC' and The American Nightmare will team up to take on the Bloodline at WWE Bad Blood this Saturday.
When the former Undisputed Champion returned at SummerSlam, everyone felt it was a lone battle for Reigns. However, Rhodes shocked the world by agreeing to join forces with his arch-nemesis. This angered many superstars on the roster for many years due to Roman Reigns' antics.
The person who was pissed off the most and could cost the two the match at Bad Blood is Kevin Owens. The Prize Fighter had issues for close to five years with Roman Reigns. The 'OTC' and his version of the Bloodline were the main reason Owens didn't become Universal Champion on multiple occasions.
This past Friday on SmackDown, Kevin Owens got into a heated confrontation with Cody Rhodes and was almost going to attack him until Randy Orton stopped him.
This Sunday we could see Owens lose his cool and cost the WWE Champ and the 'Big Dog' their match. This would turn the former Universal Champion heel after a long time and would bring him into another championship feud with the American Nightmare.
Cody Rhodes reveals insider details on his historic segment with Roman Reigns
Two weeks ago, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes pulled off what is being called arguably the greatest segment in modern WWE history. Both superstars, right in the middle of Georgia Tech football stadium pulled off a blinder.
In an interview with Undisputed, The WWE Champion spoke about that segment and how it came about. The American Nightmare revealed both Roman Reigns and he were on opposite sides of the ground and didn't even speak to each other:
"I wish people could have been there on the ground, to see how real our business can get. Never spoke, just stood on opposite sides of the field and walked towards each other, neither with knowledge of what the other would say and just going straight through ... Hats off to Mr. Heyman, JB, and Rob Fee for putting it in such a stylized manner, reminded me of when World Class [Championship Wrestling] used to have credits roll after."
CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre is rumored to open the show. This means the tag team match between the Bloodline and Rhodes and Reigns will likely be the main event.
