Corey Graves believes WWE should consider ending the storyline on RAW between Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors.

Speaking on his After The Bell podcast, the SmackDown commentator said he is a close friend of Flair and he regards her as arguably the best athlete in the entire wrestling business. However, he thinks she is “going through the motions” in a storyline that “just doesn’t click”.

He added that her villainous “The Queen” character would benefit from taking a few months away from television, which would then allow fans to miss her and care more about her storylines when she returns.

“I miss The Queen, my Queen, the villainess that just kicked everybody’s a** because she was superior. I don’t know how you bring it back. I don’t think it’s a tough thing to fix, but it needs to come back. Either that or let Charlotte Flair take a little bit of a break. Let her take some time off and just disappear from public eye for a few months. Let everybody remember why they miss Charlotte Flair, why she is who she is.”

Charlotte Flair’s current WWE storyline

Since the 2019 draft, Charlotte Flair has joined forces with two different tag team partners – first Natalya, and now Becky Lynch – as she aims to win the Women’s Tag Team titles from The Kabuki Warriors.

The 10-time Women’s Champion was defeated by Asuka and Kairi Sane in a 2-on-1 handicap match on the latest episode of RAW, and recent advertisements suggest that she will team with Lynch against the Women’s Tag Team Champions in a TLC match at the TLC pay-per-view on December 15.
