Corey Graves wants WWE to remove former Women's Champion from the tag team division
Corey Graves was his honest self on the latest edition of WWE's After The Bell podcast during which, the RAW commentator made a few interesting comments about Charlotte Flair.
According to Graves, Charlotte has never felt less important in WWE than she does right now. The SmackDown commentator admitted that he wasn't feeling the tag team angle that the WWE has booked The Queen in, while also adding that the 10-time Women's Champion may not be feeling it either.
Graves put over Charlotte Flair as the Superstar who carried the historic WrestleMania 35 main event and called for the real Queen to be back possibly alluding to the fact that the company should take her off the tag team division. Here's what he said:
"Charlotte Flair has never felt less important than she does right now. This whole tag team thing with Charlotte finding a different partner week after week, it just doesn't click. I'm not feeling it and it looks to me like Charlotte's not feeling it. Charlotte Flair carried the main event of WrestleMania this year because she is a pro. She is highly talented and when she's motivated, dare I say, untouchable. I miss 'The Queen'. My Queen. The Villainess that kicked everyone's a** because she was superior. I know I'm forced to explain myself ad nauseam but allow me to reiterate one more time, I want my Queen back!"
Charlotte Flair is one of the best, if not the best women's Superstar of this generation. Flair will join her legendary father in the WWE Hall of Fame once she hangs up her wrestling boots and as time passes on, she will also add to the titles on her resume.
However, The Queen has taken a step back from the title picture in recent weeks as Flair has been teaming up with Becky Lynch in a feud against The Kabuki Warriors.
Flair took on Kairi Sane and Asuka in one of best handicap matches in recent memory on the last episode of RAW. Despite losing, Charlotte was booked strongly and she is now firmly over as a babyface on RAW.
The team of Flair and Lynch are expected to take on The Kabuki Warriors at the upcoming TLC PPV in a match with a traditional TLC stipulation.
Asuka is rumored to be a part of WWE's title plans for Becky Lynch going forward but what does role does Charlotte Flair play in this equation? Will we actually see The Queen return to her former glory?
