Damian Priest to recruit Finn Balor's best friends to help overcome the new Judgment Day on WWE RAW? Exploring potential betrayal
It was made clear last night on WWE RAW that Damian Priest is at a distinct disadvantage following SummerSlam. The former World Champion has not only lost his title, but he has also lost the stable that once backed him up against all challengers to his championship.
Priest has Rhea Ripley in his corner but has to overcome Carlito, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio if he wants the numbers to be even. Interestingly there are two men who could be willing to help if Damian Priest reaches out and invites them to RAW.
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows know Balor better than anyone, having worked with the former champion in Japan and then united in WWE. Anderson is someone that Balor considers to be his best friend, and if Priest can persuade him to help, then he could truly get into the Irishman's head.
Will Damian Priest create his own stable on WWE RAW?
Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley are currently in a five-on-two situation and need to add to their group if they have any hope of getting revenge.
At SummerSlam, they were both betrayed by someone that they believed to be their best friend and obviously, they want to get revenge for losing out on their championships.
The best option here would be for them to add numbers to their stable or even recreate The Judgment Day with new people who have an issue with Dominik Mysterio, or Finn Balor.
It's a volatile situation but it's hard to see Priest overcoming the threat of the new Judgment Day with only Rhea Ripley in his corner. Priest has become used to running a stable over the past few years and he could decide to do that once again by recruiting new members to help him destroy Finn Balor's team.
