Daniel Bryan cleared to compete by a doctor, update on his WWE and Royal Rumble status
The Yes fanatics are in for some good news as concussion experts at UCLA have cleared Daniel Bryan to compete, according to Dave Meltzer. Bryan was subjected to the prescribed tests and at the end was reckoned to be ‘ok’.
It was reported earlier, that contrary to reports of Bryan being in Pittsburgh for a WWE medical test with Dr. Joesph Maroon, he was just scheduled to make an appearance at a convention.
WWE’s medical head – Dr. Joesph Maroon, has been hesitant in clearing the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion to get back to the ring and the latest update could lead to a change of mind. Daniel was already cleared by a sports doctor earlier but the WWE denounced the reports and barred him from stepping back into the squared circle.
There have been rumors of WWE clearing him to return but those speculations are all false. The reports were credited to Meltzer, who shot down the rumors and said that Bryan is not going to be at the Royal Rumble this Sunday.
The veteran wrestling journalist also put out this tweet to clear the air:
Could the WWE finally give in to Bryan’s demand of a return after another clean chit from a doctor?
