WWE News: Daniel Bryan helping Nikki Bella to come up with a new finisher
Daniel Bryan may have hung up his wrestling boots this February, but that hasn’t stopped the pro-wrestler from making the most of his still running three year contract with WWE, reports allwrestlingnews.com
The 35-year-old is putting his versatile wrestling experience to good use, and is currently helping his sister-in-law Nikki Bella develop a new finishing move as she prepares to make a comeback to the ring after a serious neck injury.
The injury was set to keep her out for the whole of 2016, but her return to training can only be a sign of good things to come.
A grateful Bella took to social networking site Instagram to update her fans on the latest development, while paying tribute to Bryan, labelling him a wrestling genius.
This could be the first signs of Bryan’s new role with WWE since his retirement, and may very well evolve into a trainer and mentor, besides his role on Total Divas.
A role as a mentor will undoubtedly be less stressful on the body than that of a wrestler, with Bryan suffering a startling 10 concussions, resulting in lesions in his brain that eventually led to his retirement.
