Dethroning the Queen, making history - 4 Ways Charlotte Flair could finally make her WWE return

Charlotte Flair remains one of the most popular WWE Superstars on the roster despite being unable to compete this year so far. The Queen suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in a singles match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown.

Flair has been providing her fans with regular updates amid her hiatus from the company but is yet to return to the ring. The women's division has changed drastically during her time away from the promotion.

Listed below are four things Charlotte Flair could do when she finally returns to WWE.

#4. Charlotte Flair may return to WWE to go after the Women's United States Championship

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis made a historic announcement this past Friday night on the blue brand. Aldis introduced the Women's United States Championship, and a report earlier today revealed that female stars backstage are still unaware of how the inaugural champion will be crowned.

The SmackDown GM may announce a tournament in the coming weeks to determine the first Women's United States Champion. Charlotte Flair could finally make her return to be a part of the tournament and potentially win it to become the Women's United States Champion.

#3. She could align with WWE Speed Champion Andrade

Charlotte Flair is married to WWE Speed Champion Andrade in real life. Andrade competed in a Triple Threat match at Crown Jewel for the United States Championship, but LA Knight picked up the victory to retain the title.

Flair could align with Andrade upon her return to the company and potentially form a dominant mixed tag team on the blue brand. The power couple may also attempt to interfere in each other's matches to ensure they remain at the top of the company.

#2. The veteran could go after Bayley when she returns

Charlotte Flair, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch are known as the Four Horsewomen of the company. However, Banks is no longer with the company and is currently known as TBS Champion Mercedes Moné in All Elite Wrestling. Becky Lynch has not wrestled since her loss to Liv Morgan on the May 27 episode of RAW, and her contract with the company reportedly expired earlier this year.

The 38-year-old could confront Bayley when she returned to the company and claim that she was the best female star on SmackDown. The Role Model recently commented on Charlotte Flair's injury and noted that she was looking forward to her return.

#1. Flair could dethrone Nia Jax as WWE Women's Champion

Nia Jax defeated Lyra Valkyria in the finals of the Queen of the Ring Tournament earlier this year to earn a shot at the WWE Women's Championship. The Irresistible Force defeated Bayley at SummerSlam to capture the title and successfully defended the championship against the former Damage CTRL star in their rematch at Bad Blood last month.

Flair may elect to call out Nia Jax when she makes her return and suggest that the only reason the 40-year-old won the Queen of the Ring was because she was unable to compete due to injury. Flair could then capture the WWE Women's Championship from Jax when she is cleared to return and prove that she is still one of the best wrestlers in the division.
