Did Solo Sikoa break character to give Cody Rhodes important instructions during SmackDown? Analyzing incident moments before Bloodline interference

Cody Rhodes defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa on SmackDown's USA Network season premiere. As expected, The Bloodline members interfered in that match, but also Roman Reigns made his WWE return to show The Street Champion who's boss.

While the above two moments were predictable, it's what Sikoa did during the match that can be chalked as being completely off-script. At one point during the match, Sikoa was on the turnbuckle to execute a Flying Splash on The American Nightmare, but Rhodes seemed to be in an incorrect position.

The former NXT North American Champion instructed the referee to put Rhodes in the correct position and was seen yelling "move" before executing the maneuver. Had Sikoa not broken character for a couple of seconds to give the referee and The American Nightmare instructions, the Flying Splash could have become a botched move.

The Undisputed WWE Champion pinned Solo Sikoa to retain his title just moments after the Flying Splash. Following this, The Bloodline members climbed the steel cage to beat Cody Rhodes black and blue! Roman Reigns arrived just in time to save the champion, and the two worked together to take down the common enemy.

Cody Rhodes signed a contract with former WWE Champion for WWE Bad Blood

On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns claimed that he's the one who runs the show regardless of who wears the Ula Fala. However, Cody Rhodes intervened and reminded The O.T.C. that it hasn't been his show since WrestleMania XL.

WWE teased a tense moment between the former and the current World Champion where it seemed they'll engaged in a fight, but it was cut short with Solo Sikoa's arrival to the arena. While only Jacob Fatu entered with The Street Champion, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa attacked Reigns and Rhodes from behind.

The American Nightmare and The OTC successfully took down The Tongans before signing the contract for a Tag Team Match. They'll take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood.
