Did The Bloodline invade WWE NXT in search of a new Wiseman? Exploring the possibility

Last night, The Bloodline made headlines as they invaded WWE NXT. At first glance, it seemed like a run-of-the-mill attack from the antagonistic faction. It wouldn't be hard to believe that Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa has decided to assert his dominance outside SmackDown and sent out his lackeys to do just that. But could the group have gone to NXT in search of a new Wiseman?

The answer to that question is that it is a distinct possibility. As things stand, The Bloodline seems like a group with no real direction. The one play in their playbook is to come out, wreak havoc, and leave. In the long term, this isn't a sustainable tactic, and if Solo Sikoa wants to remain Tribal Chief, he will need a good advisor, a good Wiseman. And it just so happens that he has a family member in NXT who could fulfill that role, and her name is Ava.

Ava has done a fine job as the general manager of NXT. With that in mind, Solo Sikoa might have decided to reach out to her, albeit in the most chaotic way possible. Last night's attack by The Bloodline might have been his way of sending a message to Ava, a sort of warning, telling her that it is high time she took her place by his side as the new Wiseman of the group.

It also helps that Ava was once seen receiving advice from none other than the former Wiseman himself, Paul Heyman. But, as things stand, this is nothing more than speculation, and only time will tell if this proves to be the case.

Solo Sikoa plans on bringing the Undisputed WWE Title back to The Bloodline this week

The Bloodline has one goal right now, which Solo Sikoa has outlined very clearly since he took over as Tribal Chief, bringing the Undisputed WWE Championship back to the faction. He had his first chance at SummerSlam, but his attempt was thwarted by Roman Reigns. Now, he has been handed a second chance, and it is all set to take place this week.

On the previous episode of SmackDown, general manager Nick Aldis announced that the match was official. Solo Sikoa will challenge the champion, Cody Rhodes, this week on the blue brand. But, to make sure it is a fair fight with no outside interference whatsoever, Aldis added a stipulation. The Street Champion will take on The American Nightmare in a Steel Cage match.

Knowing Sikoa, he would try to get his family into the steel cage one way or the other. Regardless, next week's season premiere of SmackDown on the USA Network is sure to be an exciting one. Who will come out on top?
