While Punk's future is still up in the air, the Stamford-based promotion dropped a massive hint about his next feud. As The Best in the World was about to leave the stage, Rollins interrupted him, and both stars had an intense face-off, teasing a potential match. Meanwhile, fans have been wondering whether The Visionary legitimately hates The Second City Saint. The answer to this is no.
Last year, CM Punk made a shocking comeback to WWE at Survivor Series after the Men's WarGames Match. Seth Rollins seemed upset with The Straight Edge Superstar's arrival. The creative team had plans to book Punk vs. Rollins for WrestleMania 40 before the former AEW World Champion sustained an injury at Royal Rumble 2024.

He disclosed that Punk collapsing on the ramp at the Atlanta event was a work, and The Straight Edge Superstar was fine.
The same report suggested that WWE officials believed both superstars revived the sense of danger that a Hell in a Cell match is famous for. It will be interesting to see when the Triple H-led creative team will book CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins.
