Dolph Ziggler about his concussion

World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, who suffered a concussion at Tuesday’s SmackDown taping in Raleigh, spoke to WWE.com earlier this week. The site reports that Ziggler said that he is unable to recall RAW on Monday night or Smackdown on Tuesday. Reports also say that he does not have any memory of travelling to SmackDown after RAW.

However, Ziggler did remember AJ and Big E. Langston taking him to the airport and that his concussion was a result of Jack Swagger’s kick.

Ziggler said, “I was told I interfered in a match and tried to get my hands on a ladder. When I bent over to grab it, Jack Swagger kicked me in the head… When I asked, over and over, what happened, AJ told me that Swagger kicked me in the head. Apparently, all I said was ‘classic Swags.’

Reports state that Ziggler is now on the road to recovery at home. He reportedly said that he was feeling a “lot better today” earlier this week. He also said in the interview that this was the worst concussion that he had suffered till date, and the first time he suffered from memory loss. The site said that he had complained of severe headaches two days after the incident. He said that the Phoenix Suns doctor who treated him had diagnosed him with retrograde amnesia. He also said that he would be seeing his doctor soon and a scan has been recommended.

Ziggler plans to be make a comeback soon, once he is done with this ordeal.
