Drew McIntyre was right - 3 WWE Superstars whose heelish ways are completely justified
A tale as old as time, WWE Superstars have always been labeled as one of two things. They are either babyfaces or full-blown heels. Now, common sense dictates that the WWE Universe should be on the side of the faces, and rightly so. After all, they're the quintessential good guys.
They stand for everything the fans want to see out of their superstars. They stand for the right in the world, justice, liberation, freedom, and every other positive term under the sun. But, what about the heels? Why are they so hated and admonished?
Well, most of the time, it's because they're just plain evil. But, there are a few cases, where the heel has every right to retaliate and act the way they have. And, 2024 has been no exception. So, without further ado, here are three WWE Superstars whose heelish ways are completely justified.
#3. No matter how you slice it, Drew McIntyre was cheated
Drew McIntyre, a WWE Superstar, has faced criticism from fans for his intense focus on CM Punk. People have called his behavior obsessive and even questioned his sanity when he took a bracelet belonging to The Best in the World. You might be curious why he did it, but according to him, he felt unfairly treated.
Since losing the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, McIntyre has been going on and on about how Punk cost him the title. Now, given all he did to Punk leading up to the event, he probably deserved it. But, what came after was completely unjustified. Whether it was the night after WrestleMania, Clash at the Castle, or Money in the Bank, McIntyre was unfairly targeted by Punk. And, that is more than enough reason for The Scottish Warrior to retaliate as he has.
#2. Karrion Kross just wants to help a fellow WWE Superstar
Next on the list is the leader of The Final Testament, Karrion Kross. Now, at first glance, Kross' actions since joining the main roster have been nothing short of evil. But, when it comes to his targeting of The New Day, his motivation is actually somewhat heartwarming. After all, all he wants to do is see his fellow WWE Superstar, Xavier Woods succeed.
Since moving to RAW, Kross has been hounding Woods to leave The New Day. He thinks Woods should leave the group and pursue his solo career, but he has faced resistance. Although his approach may be the cause of such backlash, his intentions are noble.
#1. Liv Morgan was just giving Rhea Ripley a taste of her own medicine
At last, there is Liv Morgan, a WWE star who currently has fans disliking her. She not only injured Rhea Ripley and took the Women's World Championship, but she also played a critical part in the downfall of The Judgment Day. Additionally, she managed to 'steal' Dominik Mysterio. These actions have led fans to strongly disapprove of her. Nonetheless, when considering the larger context, she was justified in her actions.
Yes, she did injure Ripley, but only because Ripley did the same to her back in July of 2023. Furthermore, a week before that fateful night, Mami's attack on her backstage played a huge part in her and Raquel Rodriguez losing the Women's Tag Team Titles. So, in other words, Morgan was just giving Ripley a taste of her own medicine. Breaking up The Judgment Day and stealing Dominik, was just the cherry on top.
