WWE Elimination Chamber 2014: 3 Promising Developments
Where was Lesnar? Wasn’t he confirmed to be at the Elimination Chamber in his hometown by none other than the man who completely abused his power in the main event?
Anyway, even though the PPV wasn’t totally great, it had a few silver linings.
Here are some of the promising things to come out of it:
The Young and the Restless
At this point in their career as a trio the Shield have garnered so many ‘This Is Awesome’s but the Minneapolis crowd did something unique and started chanting even before the Wyatts and The Shield stepped into the ring. This has been the most magnificent build up to any match involving more than 2 superstars. Kudos, WWE.
The Shield lost but they stood out with Rollins being the airborne slayer with so many gob smacking moments. Dean Ambrose was at his derailed best and in the end it took the better off him. Reigns was the superman clad in all black. And then there were the Wyatts- Eerie and chilling.
This was in a way reminiscent of Shield’s first ever match in the WWE at TLC 2012. But this time the tables were turned and The Shield were somehow outnumbered.
But an even bigger development is that 6 young superstars showed the WWE and its universe that the future is a marvelous place to be.
