Eric Bischoff says WWE competition gone 'forever'
Former WCW, WWE and TNA personality Eric Bischoff weighed in via Twitter on Monday regarding the potential for future competition to match WWE. His response was not favorable for anyone hoping for the return of the Monday Night War glory days.
Gone. Forever. Embrace the @WWENetwork and enjoy! https://t.co/FUR2m0ks9G

As a real-life executive, Bischoff was instrumental in the NWO angle in World Championship Wrestling, acting both as face announcer and eventually the leader of the NWO. He later went on to WWE, where he also performed on-screen after Vince McMahon and the WWE acquired that company, and also TNA.
Bischoff has continued to provide his opinion on the pro wrestling business through social media and other outlets like podcasts. His statement on Monday was in response from twitter user @AllonarHustle.
@EBischoff Hey Eric, do you think we will ever see a competitor head to toe with WWE ever again, or are those days forever gone?

The comments come as there is plenty of buzz surrounding the WWE brand with the return of Shane McMahon. Further, word has surfaced that TNA, long the WWE’s top American rival, is up for sale.
