EV's Opinion: The 3 Biggest Missed Opportunities From Raw This Week

WrestleMania 35 was an event that won't be remembered for its extravagant set, limitless pyro budget, or high octane action that had wrestling enthusiasts standing on their feet for most of the time, but this edition of the 'Showcase of the Immortals' is cherished as the day WWE gave their fans exactly what they wanted.
From the incredible sight of witnessing Kofi Kingston winning the WWE Title to Seth Rollins doing the unthinkable by squashing the invincible Brock Lesnar, you can never say that the WWE higher-ups ignored your requests at the 'show of shows.'
Therefore, this week on a white-hot edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE had the opportunity to reboot the flagship show with some genuinely exceptional booking decisions, and to the credit of the creative team they almost pulled off the best episode of Raw so far in 2019.
However, even with The Undertaker's arrival and Lars Sullivan's monstrous debut, there was so much more WWE could have done on Raw this week, as one could say there were many missed opportunities to create a new version of Raw moving forward.
#3 He's Here
When everyone saw the pictures of Bray Wyatt's new look, people were somewhat excited as to what was going to be WWE's plans for the former WWE Champion. To be honest, anything was going to feel fresh with Wyatt's return, as this man has been away from WWE television for what has felt like a decade.
The Raw after WrestleMania was the perfect time to bring the former leader of The Wyatt Family, but WWE opted for an unusual route. A promo package played on the red brand this week which may be associated with Wyatt, as this footage showed as a sock puppet bursting out of a cardboard box and laughing maniacally as the screen faded to black.
Now you don't need a rocket scientist to tell you that WWE is repackaging Wyatt, and this time he is some sort of Mr. Socko enthusiast. But there comes a time when WWE needs to cut the build-up to established stars fans know are returning, as there is no doubt that if Wyatt emerged on Raw this week, it could have seen him get the ovation that would have lit a fire underneath him.
