Every Match from AEW 'Double or Nothing' rated from Worst to BestÂ
All Elite Wrestling have just completed their debut show with Double or Nothing, and while there will always be differing opinions between wrestling fans, it's safe to say that this was an absolute smash hit. There were several down points and a few botches, but overall, it was a fantastic show from start to finish, and while AEW still have to back it up, they started off with a bang.
There were several shocks that will no doubt be covered in other articles, but AEW promised a more sports centric approach, so today, we are going to look at all 9 matches that occurred throughout the night. So without further ado, sit back and read along as we analyse all 9 matches from AEW's Double or Nothing from worst to best.
Disclaimer: Every match on this card was great and had its strong points, so #9 wasn't bad at all, there's just no other way to list these matches.
#9 Britt Baker def. Nyla Rose, Kylie Rae & Awesome Kong
As we mentioned, there were no bad matches on this card, but outside of the surprise inclusion of Awesome Kong, this match was very straight forward. There were some great moments, especially the teases of a big encounter between Nyla Rose and Awesome Kong, but it was still a great introduction to All Elite Wrestling's blossoming women's division.
Ever since the announcement of AEW, Britt Baker has been positioned as the face of this women's division, and after some great back and forth with Kylie Rae, the Doctor came out victorious. We've got several new women still to come (Bea Priestly, Sadie Gibbs, Allie), as well as the Joshi performers we'll touch on later, but it's clear these 3 are big parts of the future, and this was a fantastic first match for AEW.
