Writing a book on professional wrestling is no mean feat, and getting a WWE Hall of Famer to endorse it an even greater one - but Darren Paltrowitz has achieved what is seemingly impossible with his new book, Good Advice From Professional Wrestling, with DX Ferris.

Not only that, but WWE and WCW legend Diamond Dallas Page even wrote the foreword for the piece.

The introduction sees Page open up about being a rookie at 35-years-old, and fellow WWE Hall of Famer "falling out of his chair laughing" when Dallas said he wanted to become a professional wrestler. Well, we know who got the last laugh there.

The "self-help" manual acts a guide on getting yourself over - no matter who you are, and features quotes and advice from stars such as The Rock, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Batista and Bruno Sammartino, as well as succinctly explaining how wrestling IS real, and dishing out tips that you can take from wrestling and use in your own life.

Well, I spoke with our very own Darren Paltrowitz, host of The Paltrocast, about just how he managed to get DDP to contribute to the book by writing the foreword.

I first met Dallas three or four years ago when I had the opportunity to interview him and his wife Brenda in New York. I was not only blown away by how accommodating he was, but how energetic and honest. I was so impressed with what I was hearing that when he offered me a free trial for DDP Yoga, I accepted it. We ultimately stayed in touch and did a few more interviews after that.

So, when I was writing this book with DX, the question of "Do we have a foreword for the book?" came up. Somehow that involved into brainstorming about who we would ask to write it, and we came up with Dallas as an idea for that. I thought it he'd be too busy, or even feel that it was too close to the release of his recent book 'Positively Unstoppable,' but he said yes. He continues to not only be someone who talks the talk, but also walks the walk, which is pretty rare these days.
