Extreme Rules 2019 - 5 Possible finishes for Roman Reigns & the Undertaker vs. Drew McIntyre & Shane McMahon

One of the stranger surprises of the last month was when The Undertaker returned to RAW in order to help Roman Reigns stave off yet another attack from Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. 'Taker felt that McMahon was drunk with power and that he was also taking advantage of the roster.

After saving 'the Big Dog', it was later announced that Reigns and 'Taker would be facing McMahon and McIntyre in a 'No Holds Barred' match at Extreme Rules. Over the last few weeks, McMahon has tried to put Reigns in unwinnable situations, and even if Reigns prevailed, Shane-O-Mac was there to deliver a post-match beat-down.

On the last RAW before Extreme Rules, McMahon forced 'the Big Dog' into a match against himself and McIntyre with a partner for Reigns chosen by Shane. After searching all night, McMahon chose an employee of the arena who later turned out to be Cedric Alexander in a mask.

Since Shane has continually abused his power at every turn, he needs to get his comeuppance at some point soon. Will this be the event? McIntyre really needs a win to get some credibility, but anything could happen during this match. Here are five possible outcomes for the match.

#5 The carnage leads to a No Contest finish

With a 'No Holds Barred' stipulation, any sort of madness could play into the finish

Since this is a 'No Holds Barred' contest, it means that count outs and disqualifications cannot be plausible outcomes. So outside of either team winning, the only other finish would be no finish. Depending on the bumps that everyone takes during the match, something involving all four men could cause them all to be unable to rise.

If they all fall off of a structure, like Shane and the Miz did at WrestleMania 35, then it would keep all participants looking strong with no clear winner established. While Shane and 'Taker do not need to look strong coming out of the match, McIntyre does. If he takes another pin fall to Reigns, then they have practically ruined his momentum as a main-event heel on RAW.

These types of matches allow the older or less experienced stars to get rests in between spots, but some spots might be pretty big due to the personal nature of this feud. If they all are somehow made indisposed due to a huge spot, a no-contest could certainly be the outcome.
