Fantasy Booking: 3 steps to shocking the WWE Universe at Money in the Bank 2019
Since introducing the Wild Card rule, it seems as though WWE has opened a world of new opportunities for its creatives and the superstars involved. This is extremely important in an age where many superstars are extremely demotivated with the way they are being booked, and many are even asking for their release.
With the Money in the Bank pay-per-view not too far away, WWE has a really good chance at hand to make a few shocking bookings that will make things much more interesting for both the brands in the weeks to come.
With continuously flat bookings and many predictable outcomes, WWE needs to step on the gas soon to make their product more fresh and interesting.
In this article, we will look at three interesting steps WWE could take in order to make the event successful and open up a new direction for its top few superstars.
#3 Sami Zayn wins the Money in the Bank ladder match
While the original Money in the Bank ladder match line-up included Braun Strowman, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Ali, Finn Bálor, Andrade, and Randy Orton, it was Sami Zayn who challenged Strowman for his spot in the match on this week’s Raw.
Even though The Underdog from The Underground was no match for The Monster Among Men, it was with the unlikely help from Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin that Zayn managed to defeat Strowman.
Now that Zayn has a spot in a match he wasn’t really supposed to be in, it makes things more exciting and the playing field more level with Strowman out.
Almost every superstar in the match has teased becoming the new briefcase holder, but Zayn could surprise everyone by using his heelish tactics and defeating the other seven men to win the money in the bank contract.
