Fastlane 2019: 5 reasons why Kofi Kingston lost against The Bar
At Fastlane, The New Day asked McMahon to include Kofi Kingston to the WWE Championship match and make it a triple threat bout. The Chairman agreed to give them this match but, as we all know, he likes to trick the fans.
When Kingston made his way to the ring, WWE announced that it is not for the WWE Championship but for a handicap match against The Bar. Some fans expected Kingston to win the match but it didn’t happen. He then takes a brutal beating at the hands of Sheamus and Cesaro and when Big E and Xavier Woods come to save him, they get attacked by Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev.
With a double white noise on Kingston, The Bar get the victory in an inappropriate way. But why did Vince decided to let Kingston lose in this match, considering his recent rise? In this article, we will look at such 5 reasons. As always, don’t forget to write down your thoughts in the comment section below.
#5 The Bar is going feud with The Usos
At Fastlane, Shane McMahon turned heel against his tag team partner, The Miz. It was a heel turn that was expected to happen for a long time and it finally happened at this pay-per-view. However, don’t forget that The Usos also retained their Smackdown Tag Team Championship and now they need new opponents.
The New day seemingly is going to feud with Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura as they also interfered during The Bar vs Kofi Kingston. So this means that there is no credible team left for the tag team champions than Sheamus and Cesaro.
The Usos were heels during their feud with Miz and Shane but now, I think, they are going to be face against The Bar. And to generate heat for Cesaro and Sheamus, the WWE may have taken the decision to give them the victory.
