Finn Balor to bring back former champion after 148 days and add him to The Judgment Day? Exploring potential swerve following WWE RAW

For the second week in a row, The Judgment Day suffered the wrath of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley on Monday Night RAW. Despite having the numbers advantage, Finn Balor and his crew had no answers for Priest's brute strength and relentless ferocity. The heel faction had to run away for their lives as The Archer of Infamy single-handedly wreaked havoc on them last night.

Balor might unravel a massive surprise in a stunning turn of events and pull off a masterstroke that could turn the tables. The Prince could add a shocking name to The Judgment Day—a former champion who could match Damian Priest's sheer strength and unbridled ferocity. The name in question is former RAW Tag Team Champion, Omos. The 30-year-old star has been away from television since April 5, 2024.

However, Finn Balor could bring him back after 148 days and reveal him to be the new member of the heel faction at Bash in Berlin. Adding The Nigerian Giant to their arsenal, The Judgment Day might finally have the muscle to counter Priest's dominance and shift the balance of power in their favor. This potential move could be a game-changer for the stable. Notably, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan will lock horns with Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley in a mixed tag team match at Bash in Berlin.

Omos' addition to the heel stable will solidify The Judgment Day as a legitimate threat. It will also build The Nigerian Giant as the formidable enforcer of the heel faction. Moreover, it will pave the way for the former RAW Tag Team Champion to return to WWE programming and become a regular part of the flagship show.

However, Finn Balor adding The Nigerian Giant to the heel faction is speculative at this point. It will be interesting to see how things unfold in the coming weeks.

Is WWE planning to repackage The Judgment Day?

The heel stable has undergone a massive transition since its inception at WrestleMania 38. The group was initially known for its dark and gothic characteristics under the leadership of Edge (Adam Copeland). However, it witnessed a significant shift when Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley took over.

Following the recent events at SummerSlam, The Judgment Day could be heading towards another major evolution. A recent report from WrestleVotes has claimed that the Triple H-led creative team is planning to rebrand the faction, with a name change also on the cards.

However, it may not happen anytime soon, and the Stamford-based promotion will seemingly continue with the existing gimmick as of now. This week on Monday Night RAW, the faction was referred to as The New Judgment Day by the commentary team, especially Michael Cole.

Moreover, the new merchandise of the group on the WWE shop has been launched with the same name. This seems to be an indication that the company does not have any imminent plans to repackage and rebrand the fearsome stable.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold in the coming days.
