First-ever back-to-back female winner? - Ranking the chances of the participants in the Women's Money in the Bank match

Zoey Stark became the final participant to qualify for the 2024 Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. After defeating Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile on the go-home edition of RAW, she filled out a field of intriguing competitors.

IYO SKY, Lyra Valkyria, Chelsea Green, Naomi, and Tiffany Stratton will join Stark in the ladder match. Stark, Naomi, and SKY are the only performers with previous Money in the Bank experience.

Who will win this year's briefcase? Will IYO make history by becoming the first woman to win a case in back-to-back years? Here are the odds for each female Money in the Bank participant ranked from lowest odds of winning to highest odds.

#6. Zoey Stark competed in last year's match

Stark has been working in the tag team division with Shayna Baszler for most of 2024. She worked alongside Trish Stratus during last year's Money in the Bank event.

While Stark has great in-ring tools, she hasn't connected meaningfully with the fans. The audience was notably quiet when the competitors for the last triple-threat match entered the arena.

The former NXT Women's Tag Team Champ is an underrated star but doesn't have much momentum at the moment. If she were a fan favorite yet had no momentum, that could be a misdirect for a win. Unfortunately, that isn't the case for Zoey Stark.

#5. Lyra Valkyria made the finals of Queen of the Ring

Lyra's case for winning Money in the Bank is similar to Carmelo Hayes's. Both are relatively new to the main roster yet have been involved in recent tournaments with championship opportunities at stake.

Becky Lynch's hiatus has left a void in the face side of the RAW women's division, and Valkyria has gained fans quickly. She's backed up Katana Chance and Kayden Carter recently, pushing her further away from title glory.

The former NXT Women's Champion is a player for the future but has lower odds of winning this year's case.

#4. IYO SKY could make history in Toronto

The Genius of the Sky should be one of the front-runners again in 2024 after already winning a Money in the Bank match. The problem is that she was last year's winner and just came off a good title run.

Damage CTRL could undergo some changes over the next few months, and losing out on Money in the Bank would facilitate those changes. It would also continue SKY's descent into madness.

IYO could beat Liv Morgan or the next champion in the future. However, winning two years in a row would be overkill with other deserving women in the match.

#3. Naomi has experience in Money in the Bank matches

Naomi returned to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble, but her prospects have remained the same. She's a reliable face challenger or participant in matches. She's also a good test for up-and-coming heels like Tiffany Stratton and Blair Davenport.

The reason why her odds of winning Money in the Bank are a little higher this year is due to her relationship with Bayley. While the two have been allies for the last six months, something could change.

Naomi winning the case would be popular among the fans, and beating either current champion would be believable. She teased cashing in on Bayley last week, and doing so could lead to a much-needed heel turn.

#2. Chelsea Green's popularity has been on the rise

Whether you love the gimmick or hate it, Chelsea Green has delivered with every opportunity she has been given. Most of those chances were in losses to faces like Bianca Belair, Bayley, or Jade Cargill.

Despite the defeats, Green carried her part of the match and showed she's a serious wrestler when given the chance. Her hilarious antics with GMs and other stars have allowed her to stand out among the rest of the roster.

Since she always complains, a win at Money in the Bank would lead to some must-watch moments simply because of her reactions. Other stars would obviously prevent her from cashing in.

Green would then complain to Nick Aldis or Adam Pearce that the interlopers should be punished, leading to some comedic moments. Whiny heels are the best choice to win the briefcase, and few whine more than Chelsea Green.

#1. Tiffany Stratton may flip her way to a big win

While she also joined the main roster only this year, Tiffany Stratton has gained a lot of steam in a short amount of time. She was treated with rousing applause at the Elimination Chamber event in Perth and has proven that she can hang with the top stars in WWE.

Stratton didn't advance far in the Queen of the Ring Tournament, so that loss could set her up for a big win. SmackDown's current landscape consists of a few super faces (Belair, Cargill), a monster heel (Nia Jax), and many other stars at different stages of career development.

Liv Morgan and Bayley are relatively easy targets for a cash-in. That is intensified even more since Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair have all been victims of the briefcase. Stratton hung with Becky Lynch and has the highest odds of becoming the new Ms. Money in the Bank.
