Is Seth Rollins overrated?
While The WWE Universe likes to prop Seth Rollins up as The Kingslayer and one of the most gifted performers in the entire company, he isn't without his faults. In fact, he seems to have more faults than he does actual value, but it always seems to get overshadowed thanks to who he knows inside the company and his massive fanbase.
Of course this doesn't mean that Seth Rollins isn't the brilliant performer he says he is or even that his accolades are undeserved, this is just an assessment of why Rollins is becoming a bit overrated. With that being said and WWE seemingly putting all their chips behind The Kingslayer right now, here are five reasons why he is overrated.
As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and also tell us if you think Seth Rollins is overrated or not. Please keep in mind that a lot of these will be opinion based and that having a different opinion is OK. Whats not OK however is attacking someone in the comments over their opinion.
Let's get started.
#5 Size
And Vince McMahon likes to make size jokes about Finn Balor?
If nothing else, they are extremely hypocritical given Seth Rollins's rise to the main event scene over the last couple of years and are definitely indicative of someone pushing really hard for Rollins backstage. Of course WWE has still kept the Universal title off of him for the time being, but even that seems to be coming to an end at this year's WrestleMania
With that being said, Seth Rollins's size really hurts the realism of his matches when up against bigger opponents. Sure, it makes Rollins look like a million bucks for overcoming a behemoth and squeaking out a win, but it also drags the other superstar down a little bit at the same time.
In the end, Rollins getting in the ring with guys like Brock Lesnar, Bruan Strowman and Drew McIntyre just aren't realistic and that's one of the reasons why Rollins is an odd choice as a top guy. In fact, he is nowhere near Vince McMahon's standards of a top guy, which makes it harder to see why the WWE would want him leading them for any period of time.
