WWE has a history of doing the exact opposite of what the fans want. Be it the 2014 or 2015 Royal Rumble with regards to Daniel Bryan, or never allowing John Cena to go through with a heel turn. Sometimes their actions make fans all the more determined to support a star, while at other times they stop caring about the star in question.

Currently, there are wrestlers on the WWE roster whose characters as babyfaces have not been received well by the fans, and others who have become stale. It is high time that WWE helped these stars to go through with heel turns, to help them be more memorable characters to the fans.

In this list, we will talk about those wrestlers who are in desperate need of a heel turn to spice up their characters and save them from obscurity.

#5 Finn Balor

Finn Balor is a name that is one-half of multiple dream matches for most wrestling fans. Supremely capable in the ring, his wrestling prowess is under no doubt.

Ever since he came to the main roster, however, there has been something which seems to have held him back. At SummerSlam, the year of his main roster debut he won the Universal Championship, only to suffer an injury. He had to vacate the Championship, hours after having become the first-ever Champion.

When he returned to action, though there was no problem when it came to his performances in matches, he never seemed to rise to prominence. Stuck in the mid-card, he has not won a single championship on the main roster other than his blink-and-you-miss-it reign with the Universal title.

A major reason for his diminished role on the main roster is that his character has not connected with the fans. Portraying a character who is good at technical wrestling is not enough nowadays, with the number of quality stars on the roster. He has not had the edge, which others like Seth Rollins have integrated into themselves.

Turning heel would do wonders for him at the moment. He came close to defeating Seth and winning the Intercontinental Championship on multiple occasions, but could never quite grasp the brass ring. The frustration from his losses would be reason enough for a heel turn, and with a more edgy character, he would be able to attract more fan attention as well.

Be it as a leader of a heel faction, or a frustrated heel wrestler, this is the exact change that he needs to make his character more attractive.
