Flashback: The Undertaker talks about Mick Foley's crazy bumps during their HIAC match
As noted earlier, this past Friday was the 15th anniversary of the infamous Hell In A Cell match between The Undertaker and Mick “Mankind” Foley. The match saw Foley get thrown off of the top of the cage, only to later be chokeslammed from the top of the cage to the ring.
Years later in 2002, The Undertaker discussed the match on Off The Record, which you can watch above. During the interview, Undertaker admitted that “time stopped” after he threw Foley off the top of the cage. He also said that he didn’t expect Foley to get up. He then said that the bump through the top of the cage was a lot worse than the first bump, and that he told Foley to “stay down.”
