Former All Elite Wrestling performer, the next Rhea Ripley? - 4 Debuts that could take place at WWE NXT No Mercy

WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 is now in the books. This means that the sports entertainment juggernaut can now shift the focus to the big show. Fans and the promotion itself won't have long to wait, however.

NXT's next big Premium Live Event will air on Sunday, September 1, 2024, on Peacock. This special will start at 7 PM EST and feature six big matches, including bouts with titles on the line.

While the show itself looks good, Shawn Michaels and NXT General Manager Ava will likely want to make it particularly notable. NXT is moving to The CW in around a month, and the brand will have two big arena shows to celebrate the launch.

Shawn and Ava know the brand will need buzz and perhaps the best way to get it is with some big debuts. This article will take a look at four big debuts that could potentially happen at NXT No Mercy this Sunday.

Below are four debuts that could take place at WWE NXT No Mercy.

#4. DELTA could make her WWE debut

DELTA has reportedly signed a contract with WWE. She is a powerful superstar who has taken over the Australian wrestling scene. Now, the tough and intimidating star is hoping to take over NXT and World Wrestling Entertainment.

The powerful woman has often been called the next Rhea Ripley, thanks to her size, strength, overall appearance, and Australian heritage. While that may be an unfair label to put on someone due to Rhea's success in WWE, it likely means that DELTA will potentially debut with a big bang.

That big bang could come at NXT No Mercy 2024. She could either appear via a vignette hyping up her arrival, perhaps for the CW debut, or by showing up and laying someone out.

For example, attacking Kelani Jordan or Wendy Choo following their NXT Women's North American Championship match could be an awesome way for an incredible star to make an immediate impact in the company.

#3. Alex Shelley & #2. Chris Sabin, The Motor City Machine Guns could confront Fraxiom or Chase U

The Motor City Machine Guns may be on their way to WWE. That is the hope for many fans, at least, after rumors emerged that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin had rejected an offer from All Elite Wrestling in favor of World Wrestling Entertainment.

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley are two veterans of the pro wrestling scene. They truly rose to fame in TNA Wrestling, but both men have had success together and apart from it, also outside of the promotion. They left TNA earlier this year.

If the rumors are true and the two men are heading to WWE, NXT No Mercy 2024 could be the perfect time for their debut. Given their notoriety, the popular team could add some name value to NXT as it moves to The CW.

Perhaps the perfect way for them to appear is following the NXT Tag Team Championship match. Chase U's Ridge Holland and Andre Chase will be battling Axiom and Nathan Frazer. The winners, regardless of whomever they may be, could be confronted by the indie veterans.

#1. Stephanie Vaquer could make her WWE broadcast debut

Another confirmed WWE signing is the incredible Stephanie Vaquer. However, her signing to the company wasn't without some controversy, as she had been working with CMLL and other promotions before jumping ship to World Wrestling Entertainment.

Most notably, Stephanie had competed at AEW Forbidden Door. In what amounted to just a few weeks afterward, Vaquer signed with WWE and even went on to compete at two live events in Mexico, where she took on Isla Dawn of The Unholy Union.

While that was her official debut for the company, the bouts weren't televised and didn't count as an official first appearance. As a result, her first official on-screen debut could be at NXT No Mercy 2024.

The perfect way for Stephanie to debut could be by confronting the winner of Roxanne Perez vs. Jaida Parker. The two are set to clash over the NXT Women's Championship. Supposing Perez wins, her next challenger could be immediately revealed by the way of Stephanie's debut.
