Former champion to return from nine months absence and help Roman Reigns retain his title at WWE Crown Jewel? Exploring the possibility!

Roman Reigns is set to face one of the biggest challenges in what has been his historic title reign at WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. The Tribal Chief will defend his coveted title against LA Knight.

The Megastar has rapidly risen to prominence over the last year and is one of the hottest stars in the company currently. He recently handed a singles loss to Solo Sikoa on WWE TV programming, a feat that has only been achieved by Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso so far.

While Knight is unlikely to defeat Reigns in their upcoming match, a clean loss could hamper the 40-year-old's momentum, and therefore, a distraction finish looks like the most probable option. However, the Megastar has been backed by the 16-time World Champion, John Cena, who can neutralize Solo Sikoa if he tries to make an interference. Main Event Jey is also likely to keep an eye on Jimmy Uso, which means The Tribal Chief will have to apply a new trick this time to retain his championship.

This could be the perfect opportunity for another Samoan star, Tamina, to make her return to WWE TV and assist Roman Reigns, joining her family members in The Bloodline in the process. The former 24/7 Champion has been away from the squared circle for nearly nine months. She last donned her wrestling boots in February when she took on Mia Yim on Main Event.

WWE Superstar Tamina has hinted at joining Roman Reigns and Co. in the past

The Bloodline absolutely dominated WWE for nearly two years before things went downhill for the group. However, even in their downfall, The Tribal Chief's faction is still at the top.

While no female superstar has joined the heel group so far, Tamina mentioned a few months back that she would love to join her family members' faction. The former WWE 24/7 Champion stated that it is all about the timing.

"I think anyone would love to join that Bloodline. I mean, that's it right there you know? I mean you see it, that's power. That's our culture, that's what they're all about you know? Yeah, I would love to join The Bloodline, but sometimes there's some things that you just gotta wait on the timing, you know, we talked about that, that timing," Tamina said.

With Roman Reigns being surrounded by adversaries, WWE Crown Jewel could be the perfect time to bring in the powerhouse as a new Bloodline member.
