Former Intercontinental Champion's son to help The Rock against Roman Reigns? Analyzing the chances

One of the biggest talking points on the road to WrestleMania 40 undoubtedly revolves around two of the biggest superstars in WWE history, Roman Reigns and The Rock. It is a potentially mouthwatering clash that the WWE Universe is looking forward to. And, given what he is up against, the former could use some help from his family, particularly, the son of one former Intercontinental Champion.

The former Intercontinental Champion in question is Umaga. The Samoan Bulldozer passed away in December 2009, but he lives on through his son Zila Fatu. Fatu is one of the rising stars in the independent scene and has made memorable appearances for Reality of Wrestling and soon, Game Changer Wrestling. What's more, he has wholeheartedly accepted the challenge of carrying on his father's legacy.

This presents the WWE with an interesting scenario. With the prospect of a WrestleMania match between The Rock and Roman Reigns looking more and more likely, the concept of "family" becomes a major part of the storyline. Reigns, the Tribal Chief and the leader of the Bloodline has his nephews, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa on his side.

As such, The Brahma Bull is at a clear disadvantage. Granted, he could find assistance in the form of Jey Uso, but the WWE could choose to bring Zila Fatu, another one of his nephews into the mix. Such an introduction would make for quite the spectacle, especially given all that Fatu's father, Umaga gave to the company.

It would certainly even things out in any potential battle for the seat at the Head of the Table. That said, this is all just a supposition at this point. Anything can happen in the coming months, but the possibility cannot be ruled out.

Roman Reigns laughed off The Rock's promo on RAW: Day 1

Speculation over the possible bout between Roman Reigns and The Rock began after the latter's promo on RAW: Day 1. The Great One made a shocking return to WWE and smacked around Jinder Mahal before delivering a cold line.

The line was unmistakably directed to Reigns as The Rock consulted San Diego about whether or not he should sit at the "Head of the Table". How did the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion respond? Well, he laughed it off with an emoji.

Say what you want about the current state of things, but this storyline is nothing short of entertaining. The WWE Universe will be watching keenly as things progress ahead of WrestleMania 40.
