Former WWE champion to provoke Roman Reigns and wreak havoc at Bad Blood? Exploring potential move
Roman Reigns is seemingly putting aside his personal issues with Cody Rhodes to team up with the Undisputed WWE Champion at Bad Blood. They face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag match that could have huge implications for the Bloodline story. Many expect the babyfaces to win, but the superteam could come up short because of only one man.
Kevin Owens hasn't taken kindly to Rhodes aligning with Reigns because of his problems with The OTC. The Prizefighter could betray The American Nightmare in a revenge plot and cost him the tag team match on October 5.
Roman Reigns would react furiously to this and target KO, who looks to be done helping Cody out. The former WWE Universal Champion could then target his former friend's Undisputed WWE Championship again, this time without their friendship preventing him from going all out.
Owens looked disappointed after he saw Rhodes and Reigns meet for a one-on-one chat at Georgia Tech Stadium. He looked as though he was going to criticize the world champion's actions in teaming with their longtime rival.
However, The Bloodline interrupted his promo on WWE SmackDown tonight (September 20). He couldn't get how he felt about the situation off his chest with just two weeks until the premium live event.
This could result in Owens turning heel and taking out Rhodes during the tag match. This could also allow Jacob Fatu or Solo Sikoa to pick up a massive win for Bloodline 2.0, earning Owens The OTC's ire all over again.
Owens teased a heel turn to close SmackDown after Rhodes came to the rescue to fight off Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. He held a chair and looked prepared to hit an oblivious Cody but didn't go through with it.
Cody Rhodes might turn to WWE RAW star Sami Zayn to calm KO amid his fury over Roman Reigns
Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns don't see eye to eye at all after spending years feuding with one another. They've brawled all over arenas, and KO was even handcuffed to the ring while Reigns' Bloodline did their worst at Royal Rumble 2022.
Sami Zayn was a member of the Bloodline at the time and prevented Roman Reigns from striking Owens with a chair. He then turned on Reigns and Bloodline to kickstart a realliance with KO.
The Underdog from the Underground is on WWE RAW at the moment, but Rhodes has pulling power. He was able to get Jey Uso drafted to the red brand after he quit the stable last year.
Rhodes could similarly ask a favor from the two brands' General Managers to get Zayn to speak to Owens. Nobody knows The Prizefighter better than his former co-tag team champion.
