Former WWE Champion to return and turn babyface after 266 days to attack The Bloodline? Exploring the possibility
The Bloodline has been on a dominant path since assaulting Roman Reigns on WWE SmackDown. Solo Sikoa plans to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion, but he may have to face a former champion first.
Solo Sikoa systematically evicted Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman from The Bloodline before Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam 2024 for revenge. The group decimated their former leader on WWE SmackDown, and he hasn't been seen on television ever since. The active Tribal Chief also announced he will challenge whoever is the Undisputed WWE Champion after Bash in Berlin.
This could be stopped if AJ Styles returns to the blue brand as a babyface and targets The Bloodline. The former World Champion could turn babyface and challenge the corrupt faction to ensure Solo doesn't get a title opportunity without having to earn it the right way.
The Phenomenal One was a heel during his feud with Cody Rhodes, which concluded in an "I Quit" match at Clash at the Castle 2024. Considering he was humbled at the event, a character change would be a great turn for his career. He has had a dubious personality ever since he attacked LA Knight on the December 15, 2023, episode of SmackDown, so it will be interesting to see him as a good guy once again.
This is just speculation for now, and nothing is confirmed as fans patiently await AJ Styles' return.
The Bloodline Saga could reach its peak on the upcoming WWE SmackDown episode
The storyline for Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship will seemingly reach boiling point after Bash in Berlin. Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu will certainly try to bring the title back to the family.
However, they have a bigger enemy to deal with - Roman Reigns. The Original Tribal Chief has been out of action for a while and the WWE SmackDown episode after Bash in Berlin will be the perfect opportunity for his return. This time, he may bring along the returning Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman.
In the following months, fans could also see the return of Jey Uso and Sami Zayn to The Bloodline saga, potentially leading to a WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024. The coming episodes of the blue brand will be a must-see, to say the least.
