Former WWE developmental wrestler denied bail in murder trial, Nikki Bella on Cena, Booker T's student gets tryout
- The Associated Press is reporting that a judge denied a request for bail from former WWE developmental talent Brian McGhee. McGhee, who had worked as DT Porter with WWE developmental, is facing first degree murder charges after allegedly stabbing 25-year-old Bianca McGaughey to death at an apartment complex in Tampa, Florida Wednesday night. The judge noted that there appears to be a “very strong case” against him, with three witnesses having identified McGhee as the person who attacked McGaughey. One witness claims that McGhee admitted killing the woman to them.
- We reported earlier this week that Justin Gabriel defeated an unknown NXT wrestler at Wednesday night’s SmackDown tapings in Corpus Christi, TX. The wrestler actually is not in NXT. He is “Rockstar” Robbie Gilmore, and he wrestles for Booker T‘s Reality of Wrestling promotion in Houston. He was in town for a try-out.
