From The Rumor Mill: Bray Wyatt set to become the leader of another stable
What's the story?
Bray Wyatt has been aligned with Matt Hardy in recent weeks, ever since he lost The Ultimate Deletion match to The 'Broken' star. But, it seems that there could be bigger plans for the former WWE Champion moving forward.
In case you didn't know...
Bray Wyatt has been feuding with Matt Hardy over the past few months and, their rivalry seemingly culminated a few weeks ago, when Hardy defeated Wyatt in their Ultimate Deletion match.
Wyatt was thrown into the 'Lake of Reincarnation' and wasn't seen again until WrestleMania last weekend when he helped Hardy to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Hardy and Wyatt seem to have formed a team in recent weeks and now have the Raw Tag Team Championships in their sights too.
The heart of the matter
Dave Meltzer discussed the future of this strange team as part of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter and it seems that their union wasn't built to last.
Meltzer claimed that plans for Wyatt are, for the former leader of The Wyatt Family to turn on his new ally and become the leader of Sanity in the coming months.
Hardy and Wyatt are currently chasing the Raw Tag Team Championships, but it would be an interesting conclusion if the reason they are unable to claim the Championships is because of Wyatt and his new stable.
What's next?
Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt will battle The Revival next week on Raw, for a place in the Raw Tag Team Championship match against Sheamus and Cesaro, at The Greatest Royal Rumble in two weeks time.
Author's take
Wyatt was doing some of his best work when he was the leader of The Wyatt Family, it seems that his promo ability is much more superior than his in-ring skills.
Being part of a stable could help him to use these skills once again and allow Sanity to become an unbeatable team on the main roster.
