From the WWE Rumor Mill: Early betting odds for WrestleMania 34 revealed
What's the story?
WrestleMania is now less than four weeks away and whilst the card is taking shape, it isn't yet complete. Despite this, it seems that some of the early betting odds for the matches that have been made official have now been revealed.
In case you didn't know...
There are only a handful of main matches announced right now, with Asuka vs Charlotte the latest one to be announced this past weekend. Many other Championships matches are still yet to be officially announced, with the United States Championship, Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships, Raw Women's Championship and Cruiserweight Championship matches all still up in the air.
There are still another few weeks for the stars who are taking part in these matches to become clear as the WrestleMania card looks set to be the biggest one of the year as per tradition.
The heart of the matter
The main matches that have already been announced for WrestleMania are the Intercontinental Championship match, the mixed tag team match including Ronda Rousey, Kurt Angle, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon as well as the Universal Championship match.
These betting odds centre around these three matches and have been released by SportsBettingExperts.com, they make it clear that Roman Reigns is the favourite to defeat Brock Lesnar and lift the Universal Championship for the first time at WrestleMania, whilst Finn Balor is the shock favourite to win the Intercontinental Championship in his match against The Miz and Seth Rollins.
Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle are also favourites in their match against Stephanie and Triple H whilst Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are the favourites to close the show with the highly anticipated match.
What's next?
WrestleMania is just around the corner and many matches are still yet to be announced ahead of the event.
Author's take
Finn Balor is the only real shock amongst these odds since it is thought that Ronda and Roman would win their respective matches anyway. It's hard to see The Miz being dethroned only weeks away from making history, but these are only early betting odds and they can change at any time ahead of the event.
