From the WWE rumor mill: Alesiter Black to be backstage during WWE TV tapings

Aleister Black could be on the fast track to Monday Night Raw....

What’s the story?

PWInsider is reporting that Aleister Black will be at the WWE television tapings this week. The Dutchman toured with the Monday Night Raw roster during the recently concluded European tour and also had a match with Curt Hawkins on WWE Main Event.

In case you didn’t know...

In the Indies, Black made his mark under the name Tommy End.  He's been wrestling professionally since 2002 and has worked with companies such as Combat Zone Wrestling, Evolve, and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

Black signed with the WWE in June 2016 and has his first NXT match at Takeover: Orlando against Andrade “Cien” Almas.

The heart of the matter

As the rumour suggests that he’ll be at the television tapings, there is a chance that he could debut on the main roster sooner rather than later. The Dutchman faced Curt Hawkins on Main Event, and if the officials liked his performance, they could do something similar tonight.

What’s next?

Even if Black is backstage during TV tapings, there is no guarantee that he will make his main roster debut. In fact, it is very unlikely that he makes an appearance on WWE programming this week.

Author’s take

Aleister Black is an incredibly talented performer who has the potential to succeed on the main roster, but there is an off chance that he could get lost in the shuffle on the main roster. However, if WWE does decide to promote the man formerly known as Tommy End, a larger audience will have the potential to watch a unique worker.
