On an edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Shane McMahon’s in-ring future was expounded upon.

Apparently, Shane O’Mac isn’t likely to return to the ring anytime soon.

In case you didn’t know…

Shane McMahon has been serving as an on-screen authority figure as well as an occasional in-ring performer for quite some time now, however, the WWE SmackDown Live Commissioner has been dealing with a few health issues as of late.

Shane recently underwent surgery after having suffered a hernia before WrestleMania 34.

The heart of the matter

One ought to note that Shane McMahon’s aforementioned hernia was preceded by a bout of diverticulitis and a terrible staph infection.

Shane garnered widespread praise from fans and experts alike owing to his resilience, as he performed at WrestleMania 34 despite the aforementioned health complications.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio explained that given how Shane recently underwent surgery for his hernia, the latter isn’t going to be doing any matches coming off it.

Furthermore, Meltzer explained that Shane’s in-ring comeback isn’t likely to transpire until SummerSlam 2018, which takes place in August.

What’s next?

WWE’s SummerSlam PPV is set to air from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on August 19th.

Fans can expect Shane McMahon to make his in-ring return around the aforementioned SummerSlam event.

Shane McMahon is indeed a true BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) practitioner, and anyone who happens to have trained in BJJ would definitely agree with this statement.

The pain tolerance and ability to push one’s body to the limit is something which is systematically taught to BJJ students—an art that Shane seems to have taken to very seriously.

Shane has been pretty vocal about his love for martial arts—BJJ in particular—and his incredible ability to have competed at WrestleMania 34 despite the hernia is praiseworthy.
