From the WWE Rumor Mill: Big update on The Undertaker's WWE return
What's the story?
Everyone in the WWE Universe expected The Undertaker to show up at the conclusion of the match between John Cena and Kane last week. Unfortunately, for John Cena and everyone in the arena, The Undertaker was nowhere to be seen at all.
According to the Rumor Roundup section of Cageside Seats, the plan is for The Undertaker to show up on the go-home show before WrestleMania and accept John Cena's challenge. It does not specify which avatar of The Undertaker will actually show up.
In case you didn't know...
While the match hasn't been made official yet, it's almost a certainty that The Undertaker and John Cena will go one-on-one at WrestleMania 34. The Undertaker was last seen at RAW 25 where he cut a promo that did not really reveal all that much.
His last in-ring performance was at WrestleMania 33, where The Undertaker succumbed to Roman Reigns.
The heart of the matter
It's almost a no-brainer that The Undertaker has to show up, to set up the match for WrestleMania on the go-home show. Therefore, we have reason to believe that this rumour is true. What will be exciting to note is whether he shows up as The Dead Man or instead, as The American Badass. Both rumours are doing the rounds.
Whatever the case may be, and as predictable as the news piece is, we're certain that when it does happen, people will lose their collective minds.
