From the WWE Rumor Mill: Brock Lesnar possibly injured at Survivor Series 2017
What's the story?
Survivor Series 2017 was a night full of hard-hitting action and nonstop thrills but it turns out one match that blew us all away might have also blown out Brock Lesnar's knee.
Although it's not been confirmed just yet, WrestlingNews.co is reporting that Brock Lesnar might have possibly injured his knee during the closing moments of his encounter with AJ Styles in Houston.
In case you didn't know...
Brock Lesnar's matches generally tend to be very physical. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion works a very stiff style that some may describe as reckless, so injuries are almost inevitable in his matches.
The heart of the matter
AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar brought a killer match to the table at Survivor Series. Many people were under the impression this match would be great but it certainly delivered on many unexpected levels.
After the match was over and Lesnar reigned victoriously it seemed like a good day for Brock Lesnar. But WrestlingNews.co reports they are hearing Lesnar might have hurt his knee when he caught AJ Styles just before executing the final move to put this contest to bed.
What's next?
Hopefully, Brock Lesnar will be okay. But if anything, even if Lesnar is injured, he should be ready the next time he needs to defend his Universal Championship at The Royal Rumble.
Author's take
Nobody can take anything away from either Styles or Lesnar after an encounter like that one. It was simply amazing to see The Beast Incarnate and The Phenomenal One perform in Houston. Let's just hope both of these impressive individuals are able to walk away from their stellar encounter in one piece.
