Looks like this feud will culminate at the Grandest Stage of Them All

What's the story?

After being off television for two weeks, Daniel Bryan will be back in his role as SmackDown Live GM next Tuesday. Cagesideseats has now reported about Bryan's possible role at WrestleMania 34.

In case you didn’t know…

The feud involving Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon has been going on for a good few months now, with Bryan taking Owens and Zayn's side while the SmackDown Live Commissioner has been taking every opportunity to thwart their plans.

On the last PPV before WrestleMania, Owens inadvertently kicked Shane O'Mac in the head, and because of this, McMahon went on to cost both Kevin and Sami the WWE Championship match. As retribution, in the closing moments of SmackDown Live last week, the two best friends beat Shane up mercilessly in a brutal segment.

The heart of the matter

The rumor mill now suggests that none other than Daniel Bryan is set to be the guest referee in the eventual bout between Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 34.

The heat between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon has been building up slowly for the last few months, and now it looks like the rivalry between the four men will culminate at the 'show of shows'.

It was originally thought that Zayn and Owens would go 1-on-1 at WrestleMania, rekindling their age-old rivalry, but after last week's SD Live, it looks like the Prodigal Son will be involved in the match-up as well. It is not yet clear, though, whether the match will be a triple threat bout or a tag team match.

What's next?

The SmackDown General Manager is advertised to appear for the next episode of SD Live, which is set to emanate from the American Airlines Centre in Dallas, Texas. Hopefully, the show will give more clarity about the WrestleMania card and each individual's role in the match.

Author's take

While I was hoping for a singles match between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, any match involving Shane O'Mac will be a good one, sure to be filled with dangerous and exciting spots. Wonder what Shane will be jumping off from, this time!
