From The WWE Rumor Mill: John Cena to have a match with Bray Wyatt at Survivor Series?
What's the story?
Cageside Seats mentioned in their daily rumour roundup that John Cena could be feuding with Bray Wyatt in the weeks before Survivor Series, with a match between the two at the PPV.
In case you didn't know...
Bray Wyatt had been feuding with Finn Balor which built up to a better than average match at No Mercy which Wyatt lost. Meanwhile, John Cena and Roman Reigns went on to have some of the most intense and convincing segments leading up to their match at No Mercy where Reigns withstood countless Attitude Adjustments and still managed to pin the 13-Time WWE Champion with a Spear and a Superman Punch.
The heart of the matter
Bray Wyatt will reportedly be feuding with John Cena leading up to a match at Survivor Series. Although not confirmed, the idea makes a lot of sense as John Cena seems to have taken the role of Challenging and then putting over Superstars that WWE feels needs a bigger push, in a spectacular way.
What's Next?
Bray Wyatt has been terribly underused in recent months. The Wyatt family disbanded right after their program with Randy Orton, ending with the House of Horrors match which drew polarising reactions from the fans. Yet, it was still the last time Bray Wyatt was in a memorable feud.
It will be exciting to see the mind games that Cena will be put through by the Eater of Worlds and Cena's excellent mic skills will be put to the test again. An added bonus will be to see at least two of the members of the Wyatt family return to Bray's side, not counting Strowman since he's clearly busy with his singles career.
Author's take
Survivor Series is one of the Big Four PPVs that WWE has every year, and things could get really interesting when the Eater of Worlds faces the reformed Dr. of Thuganomics on the big night.
