From the WWE Rumor mill: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn sent home early from European tour
What's the story?
WWE is currently in the middle of its European Tour. So, it was quite surprising when Wrestling Soup reported that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were just sent home early.
There are some pretty insane rumours floating around out there and while the reason can't be confirmed as of yet, WrestlingNews.co have reported that they have been able to confirm that Owens and Zayn's departure from the tour is indeed real.
In case you didn't know...
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn obviously have fun, which is evident by how well they work together on television.
Now that they're finally paired up with each other on SmackDown Live, it gives pro wrestling fans a reason never to miss an episode.
The heart of the matter
As WWE continues to tour Europe, it looks like they're now going to have to do it with a lighter roster on the Blue Team. As first reported on the Wrestling Soup podcast, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been pulled from the current European tour and sent home.
WrestlingNews.co reports they have been in contact with a source from WWE who has confirmed the fact they were indeed sent home early. However, the source did not give a reason and did not confirm any speculation either.
Although it is just a rumour at this point, it is said that they were sent home due to "unprofessional behaviour." WWE didn't confirm this to WrestlingNews.co when questioned about it though.
What's next?
It is interesting how neither Kevin Owens or Sami Zayn are currently scheduled to take part in Survivor Series. They were a big part of SmackDown this week and remain two of the top names on the show.
But for some reason, the WWE hasn't found both wrestlers a spot during its big November event.
Author's take
I wouldn't be surprised to see Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn interrupt the elimination match at Survivor Series and cost SmackDown Live the match.
But that is if they're still pencilled in for the show, who knows if this kind of thing could stifle WWE's plans for two of the most entertaining people on its roster?
