From the WWE Rumor Mill: Possible qualifiers for the men's Elimination Chamber match revealed
What's the story?
At the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, six superstars of the red brand will collide in an Elimination Chamber match to determine the challenger for Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34.
Braun Strowman, John Cena and Elias are already qualified for the Chamber match and there are just three more spots to fill.
In this regard, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer speculated that Roman Reigns, Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins will be involved in the qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber in the upcoming weeks. Most possibly, they will be the ones to fill the vacant slots.
In case you didn't know...
This past week on Raw, Braun Strowman defeated Kane in a Last Man Standing match to earn his spot in the six-man Elimination Chamber match.
Elias secured his position in the Chamber match as he picked up the victory over Matt Hardy, courtesy of some distractions provided by Bray Wyatt.
In the main event of RAW, John Cena defeated Finn Balor and became the third qualifier for the Elimination Chamber bout, that will be deciding the #1 contender for the WWE Universal Championship.
The heart of the matter
For several months, Roman Reigns has been forecasted as the challenger for Brock Lesnar and his WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 34. Also, there have been rumors suggesting a possible clash between Jason Jordan and his current tag team partner Seth Rollins at the grand stage of Wrestlemania 34.
Dave Meltzer's speculation on the upcoming Elimination Chamber qualifying matches works in conjunction with these rumors.
Elimination Chamber will most probably be the event that projects these superstars to their respective WrestleMania 34 feuds.
What's next?
WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will be taking place on 25 February 2018 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.
The remaining slots in the men and women's Elimination Chamber matches are expected to be filled in the next couple of weeks.
Author's take
Considering the star power of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan, it seems highly unlikely that any of them will be losing their respective qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber.
But if they do, it will surely have WrestleMania 34 implications.
