From the WWE Rumor Mill: Reason Jason Jordan will miss Wrestlemania
What's the story?
According to a recent report by WON, it is being stated that Jason Jordan felt that he would be able to recover in time for WrestleMania but WWE did not want to risk developing a story around him in case he was unable to make it to Wrestlemania.
This is the main reason that his planned feud with Seth Rollins has been dropped and Rollins is now part of the Elimination Chamber match.
In case you didn't know...
Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan had been paired together by Kurt Angle and the duo were able to capture the RAW Tag Team Titles but lost the Championship to The Bar at Royal Rumble.
It was being expected that Jason Jordan would turn heel soon and would go on to have a match with Rollins at WrestleMania.
The heart of the matter
Jason Jordan was under the belief that he would be cleared to wrestle by Wrestlemania but it seems WWE did not have faith in that happening and have scrapped the plans for him at Wrestlemania.
However, because of this, even Seth Rollins finds himself without a road to Wrestlemania as it is unclear at this point what direction will he be headed from here on.
What's next?
Elimination Chamber PPV will take place on February 25, 2018, at T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas Valley, in Paradise, Nevada. It will see a first-ever 7-man Elimination Chamber match featuring Seth Rollins, although it is highly unlikely that he will win.
The rumour going about is that Rollins may be facing Kurt Angle at WrestleMania although nothing has been set in stone.
Author's take
It is a shame that Jason will not be a part of Wrestlemania as his on-going story with Seth Rollins was becoming quite entertaining to watch.
